She organized an outstanding team of nurses who consistently service our campus providing immunizations, titers, and physical exams. This nurse team is professional, friendly, dependable, and treated as part of the family here. They have always gone above and beyond to be familiar with and communicate with our staff and students not only during their monthly visits but as needed throughout the month. The company values our input, and we collaborate in planning our clinic schedules, monthly visits, and an occasional impromptu visit to accommodate a student or a clinical site requirement. I have been working with Pro Med for several years now and they have taken great care of my parents over the years. Not living in the same town is sometimes stressful caring for my parents and having Pro Med there provides peace of mind. From the aides on site to the management checking in and ensuring we have our hours covered when we need them has been a great experience. Fortis Pensacola has been partnering with Pro Med services for more than 12 years, and I have been personally involved with them for the past 11 years. Pro Med provides our on-campus clinics to ensure that our nursing students are compliant with local facility standards. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Always meeting and exceeding the needs of our students and faculty. Scheduling is easy and convenient. Ms.Wood assists with the success of our clinics by notifying me of students that are not in compliance prior to the scheduled clinic day. This allows us to notify the students of their missing requirements and remind them to attend the upcoming clinic. We are privileged to have Traci and Hope (the A-team) conduct our clinics, they are great with the students and can easily explain how and why requirements are needed. For student and faculty satisfaction I highly recommend this service.

I have a rare genetic disease that has required me to receive infusions every 2 weeks (since the drug treatment was developed in 1993). That drug has both changed and extended my life. Since then, I have had over 800 infusions. Those infusions have been done by more than a dozen nursing companies and probably over 50 different nurses, so I have a good basis upon which to form an opinion.

In my opinion, Caring Hands Healthcare ranks as the finest nursing agency that I have ever encountered by far.

Every nursing company promises that they will provide the best patient care possible, but in most cases, I just felt like another “customer” in their portfolio of patients that make them money. However Caring Hands is very different! They truly care about my disease, the care I receive, but also my overall well-being as a human being.

The Director of Nursing, Jessica McKay, demonstrated that high level care for me early on when she went out of her way to visit me when my overall health was at a low point due to both my disease AND other health concerns. She showed me that I was also seen as a human being with health challenges that badly needed skilled and caring nurses. She did not do this for profit since I was not billed for this extra effort, but rather because she actually cared about my overall health. That was the first time I had ever felt that way with any prior experience.

I would highly recommend Caring Hands to any prospective patient. I don’t think there is another home health nursing agency out there that can even come close to the care that they have provided me. In addition, my current Nurse, Linda, is also the best of the best nurses that I ever had.
